About Salt Steakhouse

On July 25, 2021 seasoned restaurateur David Mizrahi opened the doors of SALT Steakhouse in Long Branch, NJ and he's never looked back.

His vision to bring a unique dining experience to the Jersey Shore can be seen in every detail. Upon entering SALT Steakhouse, one can’t help but be drawn to the unique pink Himalayan sea salt bricks that comprise the base, as well as the backsplash of the captivating bar. Why not sip on a refreshing Watermelon Martini as you wait to be seated or meet friends?

The expansive 5,500 sq ft restaurant is situated adjacent to the Wave at Pier Village. SALT is open all-year around, enabling patrons to experience the tranquil views of the ocean.

Diners have the option of being seated in the privacy and exclusivity of the Herzog Winery Library, where one is surrounded by floor to ceiling and wall to wall bottles of fine wine. Ask for their knowledgeable sommelier to recommend the perfect wine to compliment your meal.

Executive Chef “Big Boy” Pinchas Frank brings his passion for cooking center stage, as he wows diners with his culinary prowess. Highly popular appetizers include the savory Fire Roasted Cauliflower charred to perfection or creamy mushroom risotto. Also excellent are Duck & Waffles featuring a chive and shallot waffle topped with crispy Southern Fried Duck and a maple sriracha dipping sauce. Pulled Brisket with caramelized onions and mushrooms and shiitake mushrooms top a marvelous BBQ Flatbread. Nothing says “steakhouse” better than a perfectly seared 16 oz. Black Angus Rib Eye or an order of melt in your mouth Short Ribs. The Sesame-crusted Ahi Tuna Steak is great if fish is what you crave.

How can one improve on perfection? As of June 2022, Salt welcomed Akimori, the popular Omakase Sushi establishment to further enhance their outstanding menu. Last but not least, satisfy your sweet tooth with dessert. Indulge in the decadent Chocolate Mousse Macaroon accented with chocolate ganache and Hazelnut Truffles, or go with friends and enjoy more choices!

Customers flock to SALT from all over the tri-state area for good reason (especially easy to get there from Lakewood). When looking for that unique experience, SALT is the natural choice. Why not take a relaxing stroll along the beach after dinner. Just “don’t turn around” on your way out 😉!
