About Pita Xpress
Welcome to Pita Xpress, where you can travel from Florida to Israel in several minutes instead of many hours! Located in Hollywood, Pita Xpress’s proximity to the Ft Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport makes it just as convenient and delicious a kosher eatery for travelers as it has been a landmark for locals.
Under the ownership of Noam Sagiv, the Mediterranean eatery has been growing surely but steadily since it opened in Summer 2017: having moved to their current, larger location in 2019. Their spacious indoor dining area is welcoming and clean, and accented with a rustic grass-wall framing their logo; of course, being in South Florida, Pita Xpress has an outdoor dining option as well, or take your food for a walk in the sunshine. And being so close to the Ft Lauderdale airport, you can take “to go” seriously and pick up a pre-flight or first-Florida meal!
Stop by for some juicy chicken-and-lamb shawarma or fresh falafel (made in a separate frier to ensure that it remains parve). A fresh bar of salatim, humus, tahina, and condiments completes and enhances every pita and platter that crosses the counter.
In addition to Mediterranean fare, Pita Xpress serves contemporary American options like burgers - including Impossible Burgers - hot dogs, crispy chicken fingers, and heaping deli sandwiches. You can even pick up desserts, including house specialties like malabi - a traditional Persian rosewater pudding.
And just like you can customize your order at the salad bar, you can make your meal your own with a variety of specials and combos. Their Make A Combo special let's you add fries and a drink to any sandwich for just $4.95.
Pita Xpress even has an event space available for reservation, or they cater your local event - including buffet setup! Pizza parties are out - Pita Xpress parties are in!
