About Mr. Broadway
Since 1922, Mr. Broadway has become a landmark for kosher food lovers. The cool vibe and contemporary menu offers guests what co-owners Yuval Zarai and Moti Zilber call “a modern twist on traditional Jewish cuisine”. After a gut renovation in 2013 with a new beer & wine bar and flat screen TVs, this restaurant/sports bar is in the center of all action. While lunch is busy with business-men and women, the service is efficient so you can have a relaxing lunch without the long wait. after lunch, happy hour begins at the bar with half priced tap beer and wine accompanied by delicious appetizers such as the angus beef sliders, and BBQ boneless wings.
As the lights dim, candles lit, dinner time brings a young crowd of couples and groups for a great variety that includes American Grill, Mediterranean Specialties as well as a Chinese & Sushi menu. Pre-fixed party menus are available for group dining and there is a separate seating area to host sheva brachot, birthdays and other events in a fun and modern atmosphere. Their braised boneless short ribs served over creamy polenta is a must have entree. A signature sandwich is the “Broadway Club”, piled high on brioche with corned beef, pastrami and brisket with country dijon, herb slaw, roasted tomatoes, chipotle aioli and hand cut fries. Worth noting is their in house ground all beef burgers creations such as the BBQ ‘bacon’ avocado burger. Their sushi chef continues to incorporate many exciting new types of rolls such as low carbs, fried and spicy.
Mr. Broadway offers catering for all occasions from simple office gatherings and sheva brachot, to elaborate dinners and elegant events of over 300 people. In fact, they are proud to be the official caterer of the Israel consulate and the UN Israeli ambassador office. They also have one of the largest delivery businesses in size and popularity, delivering as far out as the Bronx, Long Island City and Jersey City.
