About Heimish

Owned by Joel A Schiff, and opened in the last quarter of 2020, Heimish is your one-stop-shop for all things Shabbos!

They keep rolling out more of their menu, but it’s already extensive: and what’s listed online is not even close to a complete list of what’s in the store on special!

While a basic breakdown is given - mains dishes, cold cuts, appetizers/side dishes, dips, fish, soups, salads, and baked goods -  it doesn’t come close to encompassing the weekly specials, the grab & go section, the meat-carving station, fresh fruit, an extended bakery, flowers, and more!

Want a small, pre-planned meal? Order by noon on Thursday, and Heimish will put together a package of two full meals for two - plus free popcorn with your order. No takeout Shabbos meal is as complete as this one!

Feeling the Shabbos cravings on Thursday? Wednesday, even? Nothing’s stopping you from getting Heimish takeout all week long, but they also have a Thursday Night Chill from 5-9pm with hot cholent, yapchik, potato kugel, and other goodies. Keep a look out for the elusive Wednesday night cholent, too.

And if you’re looking for more sweet in addition to savory for your Shabbos, Heimish and World of Goodies are sister-stores!
