About Estihana Teaneck

With a cuisine labeled as “Asian Fusion,” this steakhouse which was established in 2011 by Yamin Dayan under the name Chaiko Tapas. But it got a name and menu facelift in 2014 when Dayan who also owns Estihana in Brooklyn decided to combine his classic Chinese and Sushi menu with his current steakhouse restaurant.  The result makes Estihana Teaneck, the only full service Chinese, Japanse, Asian, Sushi & Steakhouse restaurant in the area. In fact, this has also allowed Manhattanites who have missed their Estihana fix in the city to be able to take a short drive over the bridge and enjoy it once again. The menu offers creations from Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Canton area of China. The restaurant has an Asian-style feel with silky wooden tables that line the restaurant with a sushi bar at the entrance. A quiet place for a date, family engagement or business meeting, you can enjoy good food at any time. You are surrounded by beautifully designed lighting, calming music, in a well mannered, casual bistro service.

Yamin's favorite and the house specialty is the Mongolian Steak along with other mouth-watering cuts including the Thai Special Steak (Prime Beef in Thai Hoisin Sauce). Estihana ages its own meats and cooks them to juicy perfection. The General Ming Chicken is accompanied by mixed vegetables and the option of white or brown rice. You can also try something out of the ordinary with Crazy Chicken (chicken thigh served with mixed vegetables, brown sauce, roasted peanuts, cashew nuts, and honey walnuts).

For those who do not favor meat on the menu, try the Mahi Mahi or the Sesame Crusted Tuna. They have a full sushi bar with dozens of sushi rolls that are innovative and tasty like the Volcano Roll (Rainbow Roll with assorted cooked fish and sweet sauce). Appetizers include the popular Chicken Udon Soup (Japanese noodles, vegetables and strips of Chicken), Honey Baby Ribs, Shredded Crispy Beef, and Pad Thai Asian Noodles. The restaurant allows you to bring your own wine and for  your convenience they have online ordering so your food can be just a click away.

The restaurant has plenty of space to host your special occasion, and continues to cater on and off premises for weddings, holidays and more.
