Barbacoa Artisanal Burger House

Barbacoa Artisanal Burger House in Cedarhurst opened in September of 2022. Barbacoa has raised the burger bar in the Five Towns. They recently got rid of mandatory tipping at the restaurant.

As you might expect, the focus here is on the beef, and the restaurant truly shines in delivering a world-class, perfectly juicy burger. Traditional accompaniments like lettuce, tomato, and pickles are available, but Barbacoa offers several more adventurous toppings as well, including beef bacon, pastrami, arugula, avocado, crispy onions, mushrooms, fried egg, short rib, and even spicy chipotle. The beef patty can be swapped out for lamb, pulled beef, or even a plant-based Impossible burger as well, so the combinations are essentially endless.

Order 1 or 2 of their appetizer to share with the table; the Chicken Wings (barbecue or buffalo) are a favorite, as are the BBQ Nachos, Onion Rings, lamb Arayes, and beef Empanadas.
