About Barbacoa Artisanal Burger House
Barbacoa Artisanal Burger House opened in Cedarhurst in September of 2022 and raised the burger bar for the Five Towns, giving you a gourmet version of the American comfort classic.
As you might expect, the focus here is on the burgers, and the restaurant truly shines in delivering a world-class, perfectly juicy burger. Traditional accompaniments like lettuce, tomato, and pickles are available, along with several more adventurous toppings including beef bacon, pastrami, arugula, avocado, crispy onions, mushrooms, fried egg, short rib, and even spicy chipotle. The beef patty can be swapped out for lamb, pulled beef, or even a plant-based Impossible burger as well, so the combinations are essentially endless.
If you are the type to share appetizers with others, you have a plethora of appetizer options made for just that. From the favorite Chicken Wings (barbecue or buffalo), to the BBQ Nachos, Onion Rings, lamb Arayes, or beef Empanadas.
Being a burger joint doesn't mean you can't do other food. Barbacoa has you covered with beautifully crafted salads, chicken dishes, steak options, and even an impressive list of meat pizzas!
Of course, nothing goes better with burgers than some alcoholic drinks, and Barbacoa offers over twenty-five cocktail options, as well as beer and wine.
Customers consistently praise Barbacoa for its attention to detail. Many highlight the depth of flavor in the smoked and grilled meats, while others appreciate the balance between indulgent and lighter options. Portion sizes are noted as generous, making for a satisfying meal whether dining in or ordering takeout.
When you go to Barbacoa, you are going to enjoy a casual and comfortable environment ideal for a relaxing meal out with friends or family. There is still fun to be had though, just make sure to tell your server that you have a birthday; then sit back and watch the fun.
Speaking of your servers, tipping at Barbacoa is not required or expected. That may seem strange, but Barbacoa pays their servers a competitive wage, higher than others where the waiters/waitresses are reliant on tipping.
Barbacoa is open Sunday through Thursday from noon to 10:00 PM, with Saturday night hours until 1 AM. Make sure that you make a reservation, or you cannot guarantee a table.
