Nuts Factory Hechsher Stopped by National Kosher Supervision
News for New York in all of the 5 boroughs. The National Kosher Supervision just announced that effective from March 3, they pulled the Hashgacha on all Nuts Factory locations in the 5 boroughs. They said that you should disregard all signs or posts that show Hashgacha and they will announce when and if Kosher supervision will resume. The reason is listed to be that the store had non kosher candies and such delivered to the store. Important to note from Rabbi Mehlman that this only applies to the standalone stores, but getting Nuts Factory products from supermarkets like Aron’s Kissena Farms or Bingo should be fine, as they have their own supervision. Please see our Facebook post here.
