About Ostrow Brasserie
Chef Olivia Ostrow, a native of France, is on a mission: she intends to be the first chef to bring a Michelin star to a kosher restaurant in Florida. Launched in August of 2023 in Miami’s up-and-coming Buena Vista neighborhood, her eponymous Ostrow Brasserie is already the first kosher French restaurant in Miami, and the 2400-square-foot, 150-seat space showcases her upbringing and personal style. Mixing elements of the French countryside with Miami tropical influences, as well as featuring over 40 works of art from Chef Olivia’s personal collection. Reservations are strongly encouraged.
Ostrow Brasserie creates an ambience of refined yet comfortable elegance; it is as if you are dining in a well-appointed home. An exhibition kitchen allows diners to observe the artistry of the cuisine as it is prepared, and the cuisine here is simply exquisite — visually stunning and gastronomically balanced.
The Veal Chop Provençale for two is accompanied by a perfectly seasoned ratatouille; the Beef Bourguinon is enhanced by the sweet sear of carrots and shallots; and the Trout Amandine and Duck Confit transport you to Paris. Chef Olivia’s signature specialty is an intricate French plate called Lamb Paupiette: chicken scallopini stuffed with ground lamb and eggplant, wrapped with bresaola and served with truffle mashed potatoes. As would be expected, the dessert selection is also outstanding, featuring French classics like Chocolate Mousse, Crème Brûlée, and a Flourless Chocolate Tarte, and an impressive selection of nearly three dozen kosher wines (mostly French, naturally) is available to savor with your meal.
Ostrow Brasserie is open for
Sunday- Thursday 6PM to 10PM
