About Colbeh Roslyn
There should be a Colbeh in every town. And soon enough, there may be. But in the meantime, Colbeh has followed its success in Great Neck, Queens and Manhattan by opening another fine restaurant in the town of Roslyn Heights. Conveniently located off the Long Island Expressway (Exit 37) and Northern Parkway West (Exit 28), Colbeh is the furthest kosher restaurant out East in Long Island. This is, indeed, good news to all the kosher diners living in Hicksville, Syosset, Plainview and surrounding areas, which had a much farther drive to a kosher restaurant than now. The elegance and exquisite ambience of this new restaurant is among the best on Long Island. Tall tapered candles on each table radiate a soft glow and live piano music adds to the romantic mood. Pink brocade tablecloths and handmade napkins are the backdrop for the fine silver service that adorns the tables. Burgundy drapes over French windows, comfortable upholstered chairs, walls covered with lush fabric, oil paintings on heavy gold frames, graceful brass chandeliers, a wood burning fireplace and a handsome bar complete the formal decor. The Persian cuisine perfectly compliments the surroundings. It is highly recommended that you get the combination for two or three people. Their delicious dish of Kebab Koobideh (marinated strips of ground beef charbroiled), Kebab Barg (marinated cubes of prime beef, charbroiled) and Joujeh Kebab (marinated chicken charbroiled) all served with Persian rice and grilled tomatoes are a unique culinary experience. For special patrons, they will also serve you a Persian classic, Thadig, delicious crusty rice topped with the stew of the day. Colbeh Roslyn is a beautiful restaurant set in a storybook house that will satisfy your appetite for fine dining in comfort and luxury.
