About Tabernacle Steakhouse
Known as an industry leader in healthcare and the owner of El Al Airlines, Kenny Rozenberg decided to dip his toe in the realm of fine dining. After a delay due to the pandemic, he opened Tabernacle Steakhouse in May of 2021.
Tabernacle is two stories high. The first floor has high ceilings. One side of the room has intimate wooden booths, while the other has a small private part room. There is also a gorgeous sleek black bar with a massive number of wines as a backdrop. A long wooden staircase leads to the second floor, which has a different vibe. The lights are dimmer and more intimate on the second floor, and the chairs are luxurious.
The menu is vast. There are cold and hot appetizers, including two kinds of tartare (tuna and steak) and salads that the staff will prepare right at your table. Among the hot appetizers are spaghetti bolognese (with dry-aged beef, tomato, and breadcrumbs), ribollita soup (with butter beans, Tuscan kale, and chicken broth), and agnolotti (with kabocha squash, cashew, and polenta). Grill items include ribeye, surprise steak, and filet mignon, to name a few. All grill items come with chimichurri and bordelaise. Main dishes range from fish and chicken to veal and a dry-aged hamburger with actual bone marrow-shallot jam, dijonnaise, and Kennebec chips.
For dessert, the chef offers a selection of parve ice creams and sherbets, and pastries such as doughnuts with strawberry coulis and chocolate sauce. There is a wide range of coffee and tea flavors to have with your dessert.
The staff is incredibly attentive and polite. Tabernacle is also available to host private events such as business dinners or lunches. They have a prix fixe lunch menu, which includes many of their trademark dishes.
Tabernacle is a modern kosher dining establishment that strives to provide an unparalleled dining experience. Their mission statement says they mean to draw from the past to exist in the present. The question is, is a meal at Tabernacle in your future?
